It was a long time coming, but I have finally moved my blog to a new domain.
What really took so long was the fact that I wanted a domain name which had my name in it - ideally ‘davidchan.com’. Of course that was taken back in 97, leaving me to settle with ‘adavidchan.com’. Now when I tell people my domain name I have to make sure they know the ‘a’ is in front, and in doing so, I’ve become much more concious of how people say ‘a’. Is it ‘ah’, or ‘eh’?
“My website is ‘ah’ david chan dot com”, or “My website is ‘eh’ david chan dot com”.
I’m torn.
